We advocate for tree protection regulations and enforcement that increase carbon sequestration, ensure sustainable habitat for wildlife, and create a more resilient, healthy, and equitable environment for our community.

How you can help

Care for our trees

They cool our neighborhoods, clean our air and water, and help prevent flooding and erosion, keeping Edmonds healthy and resilient.

Go native

Plant native trees and plants to support local wildlife and our temperate rainforest ecosystem.

Clear the invaders

Remove ivy, holly, laurel, knotweed, and blackberry to give native trees room to grow.

Our story

Big Red was a beloved Coast Redwood estimated to be 102 years old. Its removal in 2025 sparked a peaceful protest and inspired the formation of Friends of Edmonds Trees.
